REHABILITATION
REHABILITATION covers two aspects of equine training: - that of getting a horse back into work after a lay off through illness, injury or perhaps just because no-one has had the time for him and that of retraining horses that have raced either ont he flat or over fences to become riding horses in other equestrian spheres.
AFTER RACING
THE retraining of horses that have raced is something that we are very passionate about. To this end working with such horses comprises quite a large roportion of our work.
CHALLENGING though it can sometimes be, it is extremely rewarding.
ALTHOUGH we work closely with the ROR, we also follow our own path.
R.E.H.A.B.I.T. - Re-Educating Horses After having Been In Training is part of Equine Management and Training dedicated to horses that have come out of either Flat or National Hunt racing yards. |

Please follow the R.E.H.A.B.I.T. link for further information.
WE DO not carry out therapeutic treatments here other than those of chiropractory and physiotherapy. However we accept horses following all manner of operations - and prognosis.
OUR work is based around getting the horse working again whether that be its first steps into the fresh air following a period of box rest or recommencing ground work in prepation for riding + of course the actual ridden part as well.
THE correct re-start is vitally important, not only to monitor the extent (success) of recovery but to ensure that slack muscles and tendons are gradually eased back into work mode with the appropriate suppling and strenthening exercises.
